SHINE ON Postcards

Free SHINE ON postcards to celebrate United Nations International Youth Day available to the public the week of August 1st

International Youth Day August 12th

Overview

In 1999, the United Nations General Assembly declared August 12th as International Youth Day.

Last year, the Council for Youth Development joined the celebration by creating the SHINE ON Postcard campaign.

Thanks to our CYD network partners, the first CYD SHINE ON campaign was a success with over 7,000 free postcards distributed in Bartholomew County. In 2018, with your help we expect to deliver more than 8,000 postcards to our children, teens, and young adults.

Join us and take the time to encourage our youth to SHINE ON!
