CHILD & YOUTH CARE (CYC) CERTIFICATION CROSSWALK

The state of Indiana is supporting the national credential, Child and Youth Care Certification (CYCC), for youth workers. CYD and professionals in the youth development field recognized an opportunity to connect Developmental Assets® with these emerging professional development practices. CYD secured funding to engage a consultant to develop a crosswalk that shows the connections between the CYC professional competencies and the 40 Developmental Assets. It is intended to provide well-trained and certified child and youth workers the opportunity to integrate the Developmental Assets into their current and future work.
