Addressing barriers our youth face requires a deeper dive into county-level data highlighting what young people experience, the choices they make, and the perceptions they share. CYD’s Youth Development Index provides these insights for Bartholomew County.
One of our primary roles as a coalition is to gather and share the most current and relevant information about our youth and families. By collecting and sharing data, we can address key concerns, tackle complex issues, and work together to create a caring community that ensures a promising future for everyone in Bartholomew County.
The Youth Development Index (YDI) is an advocacy tool that provides comparative data revealing areas where investment continues to be needed in order to ensure positive youth development for every young person in Bartholomew County.
Download the most recent YDI to use for grant proposals, policy considerations, and strategic planning.
