    Sara Dunlap, a long-term resident of Bartholomew County, has spent the majority of her career working in the field of education. Sara received her Bachelor of Science/Education from Indiana University and earned her Master of Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. She spent 12 years as a teacher with Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation. She also served as a Career Development Advisor for Ivy Tech Community College, the 4-H Youth Development Educator in Decatur County, and as a Diversity Training Coordinator with Cummins, Inc. Sara’s education, enthusiasm, and love of sharing tools and resources with families in the community make her a perfect fit for this position. In her spare time, Sara loves spending time with her two children, Jackson and Emerson, as well as baking cookies and reading.

  • Youth Empowerment Program Coordinator

    Freddie King, born and raised here in Bartholomew County, graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ball State University. After he graduated, he began his career working with foster care youth in the Indianapolis metro area where he taught youth independent living skills and pathways to successfully transition from foster care into adulthood. Freddie went back to school at Indiana University in 2015 to become a School Psychologist and worked with youth within the school setting for six years at Fairfax County Public Schools in northern Virginia. In 2023, Freddie decided to move back home to Columbus, IN to be near his family and sought out opportunities to serve youth within the community. He is excited to be joining CYD to continue to support the goals and initiatives of the organization. Freddie spends his free time catching up on the latest TV shows or going to the movies. He also enjoys playing tennis, photography and spending time with his family and friends.

  • FFY Marketing and Communications Director

    Bri is a marketing and communications professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Indiana University. With over 5 years of marketing experience and 10+ years as a professional photographer, she blends creativity with strategic thinking in her work. Her skill set includes graphic design, branding, web design, content creation, photography, and videography—enabling her to craft compelling visual stories across multiple platforms. Through her various roles working with youth and her deep passion for travel and cultural learning, Bri has gained cultural competency and a strong desire to create spaces where all feel valued and understood.

    In her role as the MCD, she is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that promote FFY’s mission, programs, and brand. She leads internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging across digital, print, public relations, and advertising channels. She collaborates closely with program teams to align marketing strategies with organizational goals, enhance community engagement, and increase FFY’s impact in the community.​
